Medical centers of excellence could play a key role in finding the best treatments for difficult conditions, a Workers Compensation Research Institute fellow said during a webinar on Thursday.
Dr. Randall Lea, a WCRI senior fellow, said centers of excellence — which gather together providers with expertise in a particular medical area — could help answer questions that thus far have been unanswerable.
