Football Union Files New Grievance over Controversial Painkiller

The National Football League Players Association challenged teams' use of a waiver to block players from receiving controversial Toradol injections in a new grievance last week.The union filed a grievance against the NFL Management Council last week under the league's collective bargaining agreement, in an attempt to prevent the league from asking players to sign comprehensive liability waivers before receiving Toradol injections, NBC Sports reported. Team doctors routinely give players Toradol shots to deal with serious pain.
