A workers' compensation investigator has questioned injury claims from two Portland public transit drivers, saying he suspects the employees stabbed themselves.
The two drivers, who work for the bus, lightrail and commuter service TriMet, both filed for workers' compensation after being attacked by vagrants in separate incidents two years ago, according to a story from TV station KATU. But a claims investigator, who is also a former Multnomah County Sheriff deputy and expert in bladed weapons, has stated he strongly suspects they stabbed themselves.
