A pair of recent opinion columns have rekindled the debate over whether workers’ compensation medical treatment guidelines are helpful or harmful to injured workers.
In a column posted on her website last week, disability expert Dr. Jennifer Christian points to what she calls a “remarkable blind spot” in the use of evidence-based medical treatment guidelines: the fact that people are not biologically identical.
