Rating Bureau Proposes Revisions to Manual

The Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau is proposing to revise its workers' compensation rating manual to change a handful of classification codes and make the language less ambiguous. The changes would take effect on April 1, concurrently with a loss-cost filing the Rating Bureau made in December that would reduce rates in the voluntary market by an average of 0.9%. The bureau proposes to: Consolidate the classification assignment of all door installations except overhead doors.
