Hoist Liftruck President and CEO Marty Flaska calls Chicagoland home. But with out-of-control workers’ compensation costs, Flaska last year moved his business 15 minutes east, to East Chicago, Indiana. That’s because Illinois is tied at seventh for the most-expensive comp rates in the country, according to the 2016 Oregon Workers’ Compensation Premium Rate Ranking Summary.
