House Passes Tiered Rating Cleanup Bill, Approves Amendments to LLC Coverage Measure

The Arizona House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill that would clarify that workers’ compensation carriers are prohibited from applying a deviation and a scheduled rating to the same insured risk. At the same time, the full House approved amendments to a bill allowing working members who own 50% or more of a corporation to opt in to workers’ compensation coverage.
