Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood announced that a man turned himself in after being indicted on one count of workers' compensation fraud.
Charles Stevenson, 36, surrendered to the Forrest County Sheriff's Department on Monday shortly after a grand jury indicted him for allegedly submitting false and misleading statements and employment information to collect more money than he was owed from a work comp claim.
Stevenson faces up to three years in prison and a $5,000 fine if convicted, Hood said.
