An Odessa-based petroleum wholesaler is being fined $60,000 for negligence and exposing its workers to hydrogen sulfide gas, according to a release from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
In January, OSHA investigated hazards at J&M Energy Services after one of its employees was hospitalized. The investigation is part of OSHA’s new reporting requirements for when employees are placed into in-patient care at a hospital.
