Labor Department Proposes Fee Schedule Revisions

The Montana Department of Labor and Industry is proposing to adjust the workers’ compensation fee schedule to increase base rates for inpatient hospital services, and increase conversion factors used to determine reimbursement for medical goods and services other than anesthesia. The department is proposing to increase the hospital inpatient services base rate to $8,120 from $8,076 effective July 1. Base rates for outpatient services would be unchanged at $111, as would the base rate for ambulatory surgery centers, which is 75% of the rate for hospital outpatient facilities. The depar...
