DWC Proposes Adoption of Updated Treatment Guidelines

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation announced plans to incorporate into the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule updated guidelines from the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. The DWC on Thursday proposed adopting ACOEM’s “Hand, Wrist and Forearm Disorders” guidelines, updated June 29, as well as its COVID-19 guidelines, updated June 28.
