Block Sworn in to Replace Presiding WCC Judge Van Norman

Nebraska has sworn in a new Workers’ Compensation Court judge to replace retiring Judge Laureen K. Van Norman. Gov. Pete Ricketts appointed Dirk V. Block to fill the judicial vacancy. Block was a managing member of Marks Clare & Richards in Omaha, and led a team of attorneys in several practice areas, including cases before the Workers’ Compensation Court and counseling clients on employment matters.
