Guilty Plea to Fraud Entered by Inglewood Woman

Marsha Arlene Johnson, a 47-year-old resident of Inglewood, Calif., pleaded guilty Thursday to a felony charge of workers' compensation insurance fraud. Johnson was ordered to pay full restitution in the amount of $28,861.77, and received five years' probation and 200 hours of community service. A trial was scheduled in the case at the Criminal Courts Building in downtown Los Angeles. Prior to trial, Johnson changed her plea from not guilty to guilty.
