The New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Administration is proposing to increase maximum allowable reimbursement for medical procedures by an average of 3.8% in 2018, a WorkCompCentral analysis of the agency’s proposed fee schedule found.
At the same time, the WCA is proposing new rules outlining the process for electronic filing of pleadings and clarifying the health care provider selection process. The proposed rules would also decrease the amount of time to reschedule a mediation conference, to 75 days from 90.
