Contractor With Four Worker Fatalities Cited Again

A South Florida utility contractor has been cited for exposing employees to trench cave-ins and other hazards, and is facing $18,659 in proposed penalties. Douglas N. Higgins Inc. was cited on June 6 by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The company has 15 business days to contest the citations.
