Rating Bureau Tells Insurers Changes to Manual Rates on the Way

The New Jersey Rating and Inspection Bureau is advising workers' compensation carriers to delay the issuance of policies effective Jan. 1 or later because it is working on changes to manual rates. In Circular Letter 1897, issued Wednesday, the bureau said it is considering several manual amendments and changes to experience and retrospective rating values, which will have a Jan. 1 effective date.
