Express Scripts can proceed with a $2.3 million lawsuit accusing the owners of a now-shuttered compounding pharmacy of buying a fleet of luxury cars instead of reimbursing the pharmacy benefit manager for payments made on suspected fraudulent prescriptions, a federal judge decided.
St. Louis-based Express Scripts sued Lifecare Pharmacy in August 2015 for not re-paying money on charges that were reversed after the PBM was unable to verify that some prescriptions were actually filled.
