Pharmacist Admits Paying Kickbacks for Patients to Dispense Compound Drugs

The owner of a Florida pharmacy has pleaded guilty to health care fraud after prosecutors accused him of paying marketers to bring in patients so he could bill insurers for unnecessary compound drug prescriptions, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida. Dino Ajloni of St. Augustine faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison after entering a guilty plea to health care fraud. U.S. Attorney W.
