Former state Sen. Blaise Ingoglia was sworn in as Florida's next chief financial officer Monday.
Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday selected Ingoglia to succeed Jimmy Patronis, who served as CFO from 2017 until he was elected in March to fill the congressional seat Matt Gaetz vacated last year. Ingoglia served in the Florida state House of Representatives from 2014 to 2022, when he was elected to the Senate.
