Assemblyman Pushes for Temporary Full Pay for Injured County Jail Guards

Now that Gov. Chris Christie has OK'd a compensation scheme for injured state prison guards, a Democratic assemblyman is hoping Christie will approve of extending it to cover those who guard the county's jails. Assemblyman Daniel Benson, D-Hamilton, introduced AB 5114 last week.
