Because of COVID-19 and delays in the mail service, the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission is allowing motions and petitions to be sent to arbitrators via email.
“As the bar is aware, the commission has faced great difficulty in the receipt and redistribution of mail,” commission Chairman Michael Brennan said in an emailed memo. Some of the information also was posted on the commission's website.
