CGL Carrier Didn't Owe Coverage for Indemnification Suit Against Employer

A federal appellate court applied Texas law to find that a commercial general liability insurance carrier did not owe coverage for an indemnification suit by Live Nation against an injured worker’s employer. Case: Acuity v. Kessor Enterprises, No. 17-2950, 11/06/2018, unpublished. Facts: Kessor Enterprises is an Illinois corporation that supplies union labor to disaster cleanup and repair projects.
