Governor Says Shift away from State Courts Major Possibility

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam is continuing to develop a workers' compensation reform plan but said taking the initial adjudication of claims disputes out of the state's courts is a major possibility, the Nashville Business Journal reported on Wednesday."That's one of the ones we're looking at real seriously," Haslam told reporters on Tuesday.The Haslam administration is mulling recommendations by a consultant to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
