Four Contractors Cited After Workers' Fatal Fall Through Stairway Opening

Four contractors have been cited for safety violations after a 33-year-old worker at a Miami job site fell almost 11 feet through a stairway opening, sustaining fatal injuries. As a result of the fatality, the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration on Monday issued eight citations to contractors Southern Chills Inc., Capri Construction Corp., SB Painting & Waterproofing Inc. and Brothers Carpentry Corp.
