Drug-pricing transparency has become a top concern for workers’ comp payers, according to a report released Tuesday by research and consulting firm CompPharma.
The report compiles responses from 31 respondents to a CompPharma survey who included representatives of workers’ compensation insurance carriers, third-party administrators, self-insured employers and state funds. The organizations’ annual drug spend ranged from $400,000 to more than $200 million.
