A Massachusetts workers' compensation attorney who practiced in Rhode Island for 18 years will not take the Rhode Island Bar examination next week, The Providence Journal reported Thursday.
Samuel Lovett, who is one of two brothers that the Rhode Island Bar found had been practicing law in the state without a license, had taken the Rhode Island state bar exam eight times without success, the newspaper reported.
