A bill that would exempt from a reserve limit the administrative account that covers costs of administering the state workers’ compensation system is heading to the Senate.
The House of Representatives on Tuesday voted 62-1 to pass House Bill 1429, by Rep. Millie Hamner, D-Frisco. The bill, introduced April 25, would declare that the Workers’ Compensation Cash Fund is not subject to any limits in its reserves.
