Bill Would Create Uniform Worker Classification Act

Oklahoma workers would be classified as employees unless they meet certain conditions under a bill filed ahead of the 2023 legislative session. SB 31, by Sen. Michael Bergstrom, R-Adair, would create the Uniform Worker Classification Act to determine who is an employee and who is an independent contractor.
