Effective Date for E-Billing Rules Postponed to July 1

The Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission has delayed the effective date for proposed electronic billing regulations and made several revisions after hearing public comments. The final version of the regulations, adopted by the commission on Sept. 18, makes the e-billing rules effective on July 1, 2019, instead of Dec. 31.
