A Texas appellate court ruled that a property owner could not be held liable for the injuries suffered by a subcontractor's injured employee, as a matter of law. Case: Rawson v. Oxea Corp., No. 01-15-01005-CV, 12/22/2016, published. Facts: The Oxea Corp. owns a chemical plant in Baytown, Texas. It also owns an electrical substation located across the road that supplies power to the plant.
