The Maryland Insurance Administration has approved certificates of authority allowing seven insurance companies to sell workers' compensation and life insurance policies in the state.
“When insurance companies decide to increase their footprint in Maryland, that is a sign of a healthy marketplace," stated Insurance Commissioner Al Redmer Jr.
