President Donald Trump on Monday signed into law a bill that will replenish the 9/11 victim compensation fund.
The president signed HR 1327, also known as the Never Forget the Heroes Act.
The bill extends through 2092 funding authorization for the program that provides benefits for first responders injured in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The Senate voted 97-2 to pass the bill. The House of Representatives voted 402-12 to pass it July 12.
