Fraud Accusation Comes Back on Employer

A Southern California tree-service operator who authorities say falsely accused his employee of fraud has been arrested in a turnabout case, the California Department of Insurance reports. Matthew Day, 26, of San Bernardino was booked Tuesday after appearing at San Bernardino County Superior Court. He posted bail, and a judge set a preliminary hearing for April 10.
