The New York Workers' Compensation Board is proposing extensive new medical treatment guidelines for injuries to the ankle, foot, hip, groin, elbow and for interstitial lung disease.
The board posted the proposed rule changes Wednesday, after months of review from its medical advisory committee, which is made up of physicians and representatives from labor and business. Public comments will be accepted through Sept. 29 and can be sent to regulations@wcb.ny.gov.
