Goldberg Segalla Opens Office in OC

International law firm Goldberg Segalla opened an office in Orange County and named five attorneys who will work in its workers’ compensation practice group representing California employers.

Partner Joshua J. Roberts will lead the new office in Orange County. Roberts is a counselor to major league sports organizations and franchises, and regularly defends members of the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB on issues including jurisdiction over claims athletes file in California against out-of-state teams, the firm said in a statement.

Partner Joshua A. Mauras will join Roberts in the work comp practice group. Mauras is a certified workers’ compensation specialist with more than 10 years of experience representing employers, carriers and third-party administrators, the firm said.

The rest of the team in the new Orange County Office includes: associates Pamela S. Aaron and Lisa M. Hardebeck, and workers’ compensation hearing representative Orlando B. Ruff.
