The U.S. 3rd Circuit of Appeals will not be reconsidering the propriety of the National Football League's settlement of the massive class action over players' concussion injuries.
It's been just more than a year since U.S. District Judge Anita B. Brody gave her approval to a deal that provided nearly $1 billion for medical examinations and monetary awards for players diagnosed with brain injuries.
The settlement also obligated the NFL to establish education programs related to football safety.
