In keeping with a recent order from the Court of Appeals, the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission has adopted a new rule about transcripts of commission proceedings when decisions are appealed.
The court's Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure last month recommended, and the court agreed, that parties who request that comp commission records be sent in de novo reviews of commission rulings must now show good cause in their motions.
