Arrests for workers' compensation fraud and a crackdown on the underground economy were highlights of 2015, according to a statement from the California Department of Insurance.
The department said in a New Year's Day statement that Insurance Commissioner Dave jones awarded $34.95 million in grants to district attorneys throughout the state to combat workers' compensation fraud in 2015.
