The physician that many in Texas credit with instituting a medical quality review program and kicking some bad doctors out of the workers' compensation system died unexpectedly Saturday at age 74.
From 2000 to 2006, Dr. William Nemeth was medical director for the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission, which became the Division of Workers' Compensation.
