The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division announced that death benefits will increase 4.6% on Oct. 1 to account for the increase in the state’s average weekly wage.
The average wage in Oregon increased to $1,007.05 per week from $963.01.
Monthly benefits for deaths occurring before July 1, 2018, will increase by the same 4.6%, the division announced on Monday.
