The California Employers Association is holding a webinar Aug. 20 to discuss two new California Division of Occupational Safety and Health standards relating to workplace violence and indoor heat.
The workplace violence standard, which went into effect July 1, requires all businesses operating in the state to implement general prevention strategies. Employers are also required to solicit employee feedback and train them annually on the plan.
