The Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau Classification and Rating Committee will review potential changes to data-reporting rules and classification relativities when it meets June 2 in Oakland. Changes to the Miscellaneous Regulations for the Recording and Reporting of Data – 1995 are necessary because of rules proposed by the Department of Insurance that would eliminate the requirement that carriers use carbon paper when submitting forms for approval and allow them to send documents electronically.
