A Missouri judge has declared Lumbermen’s Underwriting Alliance insolvent and ordered it into liquidation, with all remaining assets to be distributed to approved claimants of record.
Cole County Circuit Court Judge Patricia Joyce found Lumbermen’s, based in Boca Raton, Florida, in such bad financial shape “that further attempts to rehabilitate the company would increase the risk of loss to creditors, policyholders or the public, and would be futile.”
