Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal has appointed the wife of his administration's chief operating officer to become one of the three members of the State Board of Workers' Compensation (SBWC), The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Friday.A spokeswoman for SBWC Chairman Richard Thompson confirmed Elizabeth D. Gobeil was sworn in as one of the board's three members on Thursday.
