Friedlander Group Announces Dividends

The Friedlander Group Inc. announced plans to issue dividend payments to members of a pair of workers’ compensation groups.

Friedlander said members of the Social Services Group of New York Workers’ Compensation Safety Group No. 585 with policies dates from Aug. 1, 2017, to Aug. 1, 2018, will receive a 20% dividend. Checks will be mailed April 3.

At the same time, Friedlander said a 25% dividend will be paid to members of the Fuel Oil Dealers Group of New York Workers’ Compensation Safety Group No. 582 with policies in effect from July 1, 2017, to July 1, 2018. Checks will be mailed Friday.

In both cases, Friedlander Group said the dividends are in addition to 25% advance group discounts sent to members.

Friedlander Group Inc. manages seven New York Workers’ Compensation Safety Groups underwritten by the New York State Insurance Fund.
