DOE Awards $4.6M Contract for Hanford Site Claims Administration

The U.S. Department of Energy has awarded a contract for managing workers’ compensation claims for contractors at the Hanford site in Washington state to Penser North America Inc.  The fixed-price contract was awarded under open competition and is valued at as much as $4.6 million for up to five years, including one base year and four option years, the DOE announced. The workers’ comp program provides benefits to employees of specified contractors at the Hanford site, a decommissioned nuclear production complex.
