A federal trial court judge in Texas last week dismissed a worker's claim of disability discrimination after the worker allegedly suffered an on-the-job back injury.

Facts: David Seghers began working for Hilti Inc. in May 2011. He received a corporate credit card, which he undisputedly used to purchase gift cards on multiple occasions. Although Hilti’s official expense reimbursement policy prohibited the use of corporate credit cards to buy gift cards, several employees allegedly did so anyway.
