Federal Trial Judge Tosses Worker's Claims of Disability Discrimination

A federal trial court judge in Texas last week dismissed a worker's claim of disability discrimination after the worker allegedly suffered an on-the-job back injury. Case: Seghers v. Hilti, No. 4:16-CV-00244, 10/17/2017. Facts: David Seghers began working for Hilti Inc. in May 2011. He received a corporate credit card, which he undisputedly used to purchase gift cards on multiple occasions.
