Oklahoma Labor Commissioner Brenda Reneau announced Tuesday that the Department of Labor will send industrial hygienists and consultants to the Gulf Coast to assist in hurricane recovery efforts.
"When federal, state and local officials asked for direct and practical help, Oklahoma responded in varied ways," Reneau said in a press release. "Now, as recovery enters a strenuous and difficult new stage, state Labor Department specialists will be on-site to work on some of the most delicate and dangerous projects."
