RAND Interim Report on PD Rating System Released

RAND Institute for Civil Justice, the Santa Monica based think tank hired by the California Commission on Health, Safety and Workers' Compensation to study the current workers' compensation permanent disability rating system, has issued an Interim Report concluding that there are aspects of the current system that are equitable, that some aspects need adjustment, and that the AMA Guidelines should not be adopted verbatim.
