California's 1st District Court of Appeal has scheduled oral arguments for Dec. 18 in a case about whether the 104-week cap on temporary total disability payments applies to Labor Code 4850's industrial disability leave benefits for police and firefighters. The Northern California appellate court scheduled oral arguments in the case of County of Alameda v.
